This meme is a masterpiece in the Bitcoin atmosphere. People who don’t truly understand Bitcoin might not understand it at first, but that’s because they think about Bitcoin in terms of dollar value. People who buy and hold Bitcoin long-term understand that in the future the dollar, any fiat currency for that matter, has no chance at retaining its purchasing power over time. It will ultimately become as worthless as a piece of paper. How will you trade your bitcoin for millions of dollars if the dollar is worthless?
What this meme says is that when we – all humans – are ready, we won’t have to trade bitcoin. Because it will be our only protection against a hyperinflated global monetary system.
Over decades, the public’s blind trust in the monetary system has fueled the decline of the USD, which will continue to lose its purchasing power as a result of our debt fueled economy and reckless government spending.
With a 21M Bitcoin supply cap and with +7B people on earth, it has become clear to many who see the global economy for what it is – a corrupt system propping up infinite corruption – that bitcoin is a game of accumulation. The more bitcoin people own, the greater the chance of having our purchasing power improve.
